Job Details

Role: React Developer
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite 1 day/week)
Duration: 6 months to start (likely to extend based on performance)

Top Skills Required:

  • 5 7+ years of React development

  • 2+ years of experience with Redux

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably AWS, but open to others)

  • Nice to have: .NET/C# backend experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of software development experience

  • 5+ years with React, Redux, Sagas, and Jest

  • 7+ years working in Agile environments

  • Strong background with .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET/MVC, Web API, WCF

  • Experience using tools like Visual Studio, TFS, GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps

  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD, unit testing, and code reviews

  • 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

  • Familiarity with .NET Core 6.x

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB, ElasticSearch)

  • Background in the airline industry
