This team requests EST hours and prefers candidates able to work a hybrid schedule, working onsite 2-3 days a week - located in Dearborn, MI

The Technology Strategy Lead , as a member of the Industrial System IT team, will play a key role in helping to design and drive the strategy and integrated roadmap for the end-to-end ecosystem of the industrial system across Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Safety & Sustainability.

This position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to be at the heart of a large scale modernization and transformation initiative. You will lead the development and execution of technology strategies that will shape Ford Motor Company for many years to come.

The role responsibilities will include:
  • Bring in an outside-in perspective of the merging industry processes and systems across all of the industrial functions
  • Understand the current state of Ford's automotive processes and provide an assessment and gap analysis
  • Develop technology modernization and portfolio rationalization strategies
  • Define the shifts required for Ford to compete and win with a modern and simplified industrial system technology landscape
  • Drive cross functional initiatives across the ISIT organization
  • Partner with enterprise architects to define an integrated systems portfolio that seamlessly connects the end-to-end ecosystem
  • Align the end-to-end solution strategy with enterprise architecture, cyber security, and infrastructure policies, procedures, and industry best practices
  • Manage and support stakeholder relationships across leaders in the Industrial System and related domains
  • Prepare and deliver executive updates and presentations for operational updates, organizational accomplishments to objectives, strategy and roadmap etc


The successful candidate will have the following experiences and skills:
  • Domain expertise in the Industrial System domain areas and the end-to-end ecosystem
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic thinking, execution excellence and peer collaboration
  • Inclusive leadership style with the ability to lead through influence and build meaningful relationships at all levels and functions of the organization
  • Strong knowledge and experiences with mature and emerging technologies in the PLM, MFG, MRP, Quality and Supply Chain functions
  • Demonstrated ability to balance the operational excellence of the organization with enabling long-term vision and success
  • Be able to work cross-functionally, in a matrixed environment and have experience in a large multi-national company
  • Most importantly, the successful candidate will exhibit the Ford+ behaviors and work diligently and ethically each day to help achieve success of the Ford+ plan

This position is a range of salary grade LL6.
