Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a full-time Information Security Communications Analyst to join our premier global client. This opportunity is open to candidates in Washington DC, Chicago IL, Atlanta GA, or Los Angeles CA metro areas.

This position exists to support the Information Security Awareness Manager in executing a comprehensive security awareness and training program, with a strong emphasis on maintaining the organization s ISO 27001 certification, audit readiness, and compliance data analysis. You will play a critical role in coordinating communications, compliance activities, and user engagement initiatives to foster a culture of security throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will be a resourceful, proactive professional with a minimum of 3 5 years of information security experience who enjoys working cross-functionally and is passionate about driving a culture of security through data, training, and communication.

What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)

• 3+ years of experience in the Information Security sector.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Exposure to ISO27001 certification requirements, maintenance, and audits is required.

• Strong understanding of Security Awareness, risk mitigation, and compliance principles, with a focus on ISO 27001 certification and compliance.
• Self-starter with a proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented approach.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data tracking and analytics.
• Proficiency in JIRA is highly preferred.

• Industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP are preferred.
• Experience in basic project management methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Skilled in creating engaging materials across formats, including presentations, guides, and internal communications.
• Versatile and eager to learn, with a strong interest in continuous development within the information security awareness and compliance space.
  

What You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position)

• Support and drive security awareness and training initiatives across the enterprise.
• Assist in maintaining ISO 27001 certification through audit coordination and documentation review.
• Monitor and track ISO 27001 compliance and communicate certification status updates to leadership.
• Lead coordination of security training initiatives and manage the review process for policy exceptions to ensure compliance alignment.
• Partner with the Information Security team to identify and prioritize training needs based on risk trends and emerging threats.
• Drive user engagement and strategies to minimize risky behaviors and strengthen the organization s security culture.
• Analyze existing training program performance and recommend improvements to maximize awareness effectiveness and user participation.

Compensation and Employment
This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
