A client of Sharp Decisions Inc. is looking to bring on an IT Project Manager - SAP S/4 HANA to be based in South San Francisco, CA. The position is HYBRID (3 days a week onsite required). The duration is 12 months with possible extension. *W2 and local only.
JOB DESCIPTION:
Seeking a Project Manager with about seven years of experience, preferably in SAP S4 projects, to lead the integration of two new external 3PL warehouses with the SAP S4 HANA global system, requiring expertise in modules like EWM, Materials Management, and Quality Management. The Project Manager will have full autonomy, must be willing to work on-site in SSF three days a week, and should understand safe terminologies, with a project timeline targeting the first 3PL go-live by November confirmed that SAP ECC experience is acceptable, GXP experience is desirable, and the interview process involves two virtual rounds.
Details
Project Overview and Requirements Seeking a Project Manager to drive the integration of two new external 3PL warehouses with the SAP S4 HANA global system. This role requires extensive coordination across the new 3PLs, and the global team, ensuring adherence to the global SAP template and governance. The ideal candidate should have about seven years of experience, preferably with SAP S4 projects, possess self-driving independence, and be ready to join immediately as the project has already commenced with requirements gathering.
Required Experience and Project Details
Mandatory experience includes working on SAP S4 projects, such as implementation or enhancements, while GXP environment experience is desirable but not mandatory. The project involves SAP modules like EWM, Materials Management, and Quality Management, focusing mainly on 3PL integration, and prior experience in 3PL implementation would be very helpful. The project follows a traditional waterfall life cycle, but the development conducted by the global team uses a safe process, so the PM must understand safe terminologies and structure, though they will not be driving the project using that methodology.
