Job Description
WHAT WE'RE DOING
The Master Data organization is seeking a highly skilled Master Data Material Planner to play a key role in standardizing and aligning material data throughout the ERP system. As a Master Data Material Planner, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of production systems, optimizing processes, and ensuring effective material flow.
THE WORK
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Managing Make/Buy changes, planning data element updates, and additional material attributes that tie into Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions
Maintaining production systems integrity to optimize processes and ensure effective material flow
Providing support and leading departmental initiatives in areas such as:
Establishing and implementing processes to update and maintain SAP master data on key Demand and Asset Planning (DAP) data elements
Standardizing and auditing company procedures and command media to ensure compliance within the Master Data organization
Identifying opportunities and leading projects that focus on departmental continuous improvement activities
Assisting with the maintenance of standard work, training documentation, and training courses
Presenting projects during reviews to other DAP team members and leadership
Assisting in the creation of master data specific reports for the team to track system fixes and updates
Participating and engaging in 1LM/1LMX workshops on behalf of Rotary

Basic Qualifications
Ability to act as team lead and liaison to all levels of organizational leadership
Skilled in Microsoft Suite Products to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong Communication and Presentation Skills.
Basic knowledge of SAP and willingness to learn from other members of the organization about processes associated with procedures
Overall understanding of procedures
Familiarity and basic understanding of how material moves through the system
Desired skills
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $69,900 - $123,280. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
