Security Solutions Architect - Pennington, NJ

The Information Security Solution Architect is responsible for architecting and designing comprehensive, secure solutions that meet complex business requirements within the finance and banking digital domain.This role in critical in ensuring that enterprise solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry-leading security standards

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the creation of detailed threat models and security related conceptual diagrams for complex enterprise solutions, identifying potential risks and mutigation strategies early in the solution lifecycle. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, technology managers, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture principles and security best practices.

Design and document secure architectures for digital banking and financial platforms, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal secunty policies

Evaluate and select appropriate security technologies and frameworks, making informed buy vs build recommendations

Provide expert guidance on security architecture throughout the solution development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution evaluation, detailed design, build, test, and deployment phases

Support early-phase project estimates and contribute to business case development, ensuring security considerations are factored into cost and benefit analyses

Serve as a security consultant during implementation, testing, and deployment, and re-engage post-deployment to assess benefits realization and continuous improvement opportunities,

Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to the finance and banking sector, and proactively incorporate this knowledge into solution designs

Required Skills

• Proven experience in information security architecture, preferably within the finance or banking industry
• Strong expertise in threat modeling methodologies and the creation of security conceptual diagrams
• Deep understanding of enterprise security frameworks, secure SDLC, and regulatory requirements (cg, PCI DSS, SOX, GLBA)
• Experience with digital banking platforms, APIs, clouad security, and modern authentication/authorization protocols Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex secunty concepts for both

HUGE PLUS:

Security Certifications and prior financial industry experience
