Job Description
Summary
The Lead Oracle Fusion EPM Consultant will serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and the external implementation partner to ensure successful delivery of Oracle Fusion EPM Cloud solutions. This role combines solution architecture, project governance, and business leadership, ensuring that wholesale distribution-specific requirements are met while maintaining alignment with corporate standards. The consultant will oversee design, configuration, integration, and testing activities, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Governance
Act as the internal lead for Oracle Fusion EPM implementation projects, managing scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the implementation partner; review and approve design documents, configurations, and test plans.
Ensure adherence to project governance, change control, and compliance standards.
Conduct status reviews, risk assessments, and escalation management with both internal leadership and vendor teams.
Solution Design & Oversight
Validate solution architecture proposed by the implementation partner for Planning, FCCS, PCMCS, Narrative Reporting, and EDMCS.
Ensure wholesale distribution-specific requirements (inventory, freight, rebates, SKU-level profitability) are incorporated into the design.
Oversee integration strategy between EPM and ERP systems (Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, WMS/TMS, and external data sources).
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT leadership to define business requirements and prioritize enhancements.
Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and UAT sessions; ensure stakeholder sign-off on critical deliverables.
Drive change management and user adoption through training and communication plans.
Quality Assurance & Delivery
Review partner deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with best practices.
Monitor testing cycles (SIT/UAT), validate defect resolution, and approve go-live readiness.
Ensure post-implementation support and knowledge transfer from the implementation partner to internal teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years in EPM/FP&A; 5+ years leading Oracle Fusion EPM Cloud implementations.
Strong experience in vendor management, project governance, and stakeholder alignment.
Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Fusion EPM modules (Planning, FCCS, PCMCS, Narrative Reporting, EDMCS).
Familiarity with wholesale distribution processes (inventory management, freight allocation, pricing strategies).
Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to influence across Finance, IT, and Operations.

Preferred Qualifications
Oracle EPM Cloud certification.
Experience managing large-scale implementations with external partners.
Background in wholesale distribution or related industries.
