Role: Oracle Database Developer

Location : Alpharetta, GA , Onsite

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust database systems that support mission-critical applications. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing PL/SQL procedures, managing database performance, and ensuring the integrity and security of our Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions.

  • Optimize existing SQL queries for performance and scalability.

  • Perform database tuning and monitoring to ensure high performance.

  • Collaborate with application developers to integrate database logic into applications.

  • Design and implement database schema, tables, indexes, and views.

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies.

  • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in database development.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for database processes and structures.

  • Support production issues, troubleshoot errors, and resolve performance bottlenecks.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer (typically 3 7+ years).

  • Strong expertise in Oracle 11g/12c/19c and PL/SQL programming.

  • Deep understanding of SQL tuning, indexing, and query optimization techniques.

  • Experience with Oracle tools like SQL*Plus, TOAD, SQL Developer, etc.

  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and tools (e.g., ERwin).

  • Familiarity with database security, backups, and recovery techniques.
