Job Details

Title: Project Manager EIP & Financial Systems

Duration: 6 Months contract with possible extension/conversion

Location: Denver, CO, 80202 (Remote)

Duties:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and support the inflight Electronic Invoice Project (EIP) initiative and manage projects across the Finance, Accounting, and Procurement application space. This role will be instrumental in driving delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals, and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Own end-to-end delivery of the EIP project and related financial systems initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leads, IT product owners, and external partners to ensure requirements are captured and delivered against the project charter and scope.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, track capex/opex allocations, and support teammates with expense reporting guidance.
  • Resource Coordination: Work with internal teams to onboard and manage resources, including potential reporting structure adjustments.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, status reports, and dashboards. Ensure compliance with internal standards and audit readiness.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in IT, preferably within financial/procurement systems or ERP implementations.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, procurement processes, and enterprise integration platforms.
  • Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA/Confluence, Apptio/TargetProcess, Oracle EBS/Cloud, Coupa, Tungsten (formerly Kofax).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Builds strong stakeholder relationships and manages expectations effectively.
  • Product experience a plus.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
