Description
SUMMARY:
Working primarily without supervision, manage workflow for all design projects for the In-House Design Team. Take in projects from the marketing teams and assign them to the team of 4 based on workload and design capabilities. Involves tracking status of and follow-up on all inputs to and deliverables from the design process, including design briefs, asset/reference collection, Marketing feedback and approvals, managing design timeline requirements, involving Sr Design Manager as necessary. Support HAS (asset management) system for The In-House Design Team. Additionally manage new workflow in WebCenter, an ESKO system for tracking purposes.
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify the major duties/responsibilities of the job. List the percentage of the job incumbent's time that will be spent on each major duty/responsibility. Time %
60% of time: As the Design Traffic/Project manager, ensure timely flow of deliverables from all functional areas in the design process, through regularly scheduled status meetings with designers, Marketing and Packaging Graphics teams. Establish standard communication and tracking methodologies and ensure timely issue resolution.
20% of time: What is done: Independently manage design process for assigned projects, using electronic tools and systems. Ensure timely and thorough project communications with designers and Marketing teams. Review final packaging graphics in approval systems, comparing to released design art and following up on any issues to ensure quick resolution.
15% of time: What is done: Continuously improve systems and processes for managing In-House Design workflows, working with Sr Design Manager and Operations teammates. Recommend system changes/upgrades to streamline communications with process partners
5% of time: What is done: Responsible for maintaining up to date knowledge of systems, people and procedures that touch the In-House Design process.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Be specific with regard to years of experience, special training, applicable degree (or critical college level courses), as well as equivalency to education and experience.
Education: BA/BS Printing/Packaging/Graphic Arts, Packaging Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
Experience: Minimum 3 year's experience in CPG/graphics art industry.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
