Job Details

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Kubernetes Administrator to manage and optimize our containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker. You will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting container orchestration platforms, implementing infrastructure automation, and integrating CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of IaaS platforms, containerization, and continuous integration/delivery workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
  • Maintain and optimize Docker container infrastructure.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
  • Manage infrastructure on public or private IaaS platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack).
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security of containerized applications.
  • Write and maintain Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and automation scripts (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Implement and maintain service discovery, ingress controllers, and load balancers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline application delivery.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure processes and architecture.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Kubernetes Administrator in production environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker and container lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with one or more IaaS providers (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
  • Proficient with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
  • Good understanding of networking, load balancing, DNS, and security in Kubernetes environments.
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Solid understanding of Linux system administration.
