Systems Engineer with KOFAX

Primary purpose of the Role
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site support at our Freehold/Dallas imaging center as well as supporting our imaging and file transfer central environment.
This role requires an experienced IT professional with a proven record of accomplishment to support this fast-paced and high volume environment. Reporting to the IT Manager for Global DS Service Operations, this individual will be the on-site lead for the Service Operations team. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and supporting Hardware and software including high speed scanners, imaging tools and managing file transfer(delivery).
Key Accountabilities
The range of activities and tasks to be undertaken by the System Engineer, Global DS Service Operations (NA) include:
- Daily maintenance activities to ensure all IT operations run smoothly.
- Daily support for the local imaging center and for the central environments.
- Responsible for proper daily escalation of issues and off-hour on-call support.
- Work to improve existing standard processes and develop comprehensive controls to monitor productivity, quality, and SLA adherence based on industry proven best practices.
- Responsible for successful on-boarding of new DS customers and change requests for existing DS customers
- Ensure constant systems/solution availability to meet project SLA s
- Meet with Implementation/Devops for solution fixes and enhancements.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Extensive experience with remote control tools, Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, SQL Database and Active Directory.
- Installation of hardware and software products remotely and at customer locations.
- Deploy/troubleshoot Kofax(imaging software) and Batch class deployment
- Deep understanding of the various IT functions(Desktop, Server, Network)
- Providing technical support for hardware and software products on-site.
- Program/Project management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences including executives, business stakeholders and IT teams
- Demonstrated ability to perform independently as a member of a team and through cross functional initiatives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to plan strategically
- Willingness to work with numerous deadlines on a wide variety of initiatives in an environment where priorities may change quickly
- Network management and support- some knowledge of switches, routers and firewalls
- PowerShell scripting experience desired
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university or over 5 years of IT industry work experience
- Microsoft Certified Professional (or related certification)
- A+ and Network+ Certifications
- ITIL v3 foundation and practitioner certification
- CompTIA Sec + Certification
