Location: Rochester Hills, MI (100% Onsite)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Court Applications Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support at the Rochester District Court. This role is critical in ensuring courtroom technology runs smoothly, especially during live court sessions. The ideal candidate will have strong Audio/Visual (AV) support experience, excellent judgment, and the ability to work effectively with court personnel including judges, attorneys, and administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary onsite technical support resource for court staff and the public.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AV systems, including live courtroom recording and broadcasting equipment.
  • Provide support for court-specific applications such as MiFILE, JAVS, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat, and other productivity tools.
  • Respond quickly to technical issues during live court sessions to minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with the County IT team for escalated issues and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Learn and support court-specific software and hardware systems.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while working with high-level court personnel.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong AV support experience is essential (e.g., JAVS, BIS, Zoom, hybrid meeting tech).
  • Experience supporting end-users in a professional or government setting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Visio.
  • Ability to learn and support specialized court software (training provided).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
