- We're seeking a dedicated IT Operations Support Specialist to join a high-performing technical team focused on systems monitoring and service desk support. This role is ideal for someone with a strong troubleshooting mindset, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for keeping mission-critical systems running smoothly.
Shift Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 1pm-9:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor enterprise-wide systems and respond to alerts
- Provide Tier 1 support and assist with service desk calls
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across various platforms
- Document incidents and resolutions clearly and concisely
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent uptime and performance
Required Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years in IT support or desktop support roles
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with hardware/software systems
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable attendance and professional demeanor
- Ability to simplify technical explanations for non-technical users
- Empathy and patience when dealing with upset or frustrated users
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in systems or data center operations
- Familiarity with remote desktop support
- Knowledge of modern operating systems and office productivity suites
- Exposure to ticketing systems and command-line tools
- Basic networking diagnostics and Active Directory experience
- Ability to multitask and follow established procedures
