Position: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Stamford, CT (Only On-Site)
Duration: Contract
- Problem solver - Thinks outside the box, to uncover how various dependencies may contribute to a problem. Curiosity is a key trait
- Solid SQL or other querying language, but not heavy on the developer/ETL function. We are looking for someone who can uncover patterns using SQL, Python, Excel. Any tool, but the idea is to get to insights, and answer questions quickly
- Understands Business Intelligence how data can help solve business needs, answer business questions, and help drive
Job Description:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analyst role
- 8+ years of experienced developing requirements and creating requirements documents and process flows
- Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making
- Verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data.
- An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
- Advanced ability to draw insights from analysis supported by data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required
