Job Title: Oracle Developer

Client: NYC Government Agency
Job Type: Contract

Job Summary:

Our NYC Government client is seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to support data integration and ETL development using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). The role will involve end-to-end project lifecycle involvement from requirements gathering through design, development, and testing. The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle ETL experience, particularly with ODI 12c/19, and familiarity with dimensional modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and document functional specifications

  • Design data integration workflows and mappings using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

  • Develop and optimize ETL processes

  • Perform unit testing, validation, and ensure data accuracy

  • Support daily operational tasks related to data integration

  • Participate in code reviews and performance tuning.

Required Skills:

  • 9+ years of overall IT experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c and/or 19

  • Strong understanding of dimensional data modeling

  • Proven design and development skills in enterprise data environments

Optional Skills:

  • Familiarity with Work Order Management Systems

  • Experience with Rent Collection Systems

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to Databricks or similar data engineering platforms

Daily Tasks Include:

  • Requirement gathering and documentation

  • Data model and integration design

  • ETL development and configuration

  • Testing and validation of data pipelines.
