Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of LIMS implementation or enhancement projects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, laboratory users, and technical teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee vendor coordination (e.g., LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage) and ensure system configuration meets user requirements.
- Drive user acceptance testing (UAT), data migration, and system validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Prepare and deliver status reports, documentation, and stakeholder updates.
- Support change management and user training to ensure smooth adoption of the LIMS solution.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in LIMS projects.
- Proven experience with one or more LIMS platforms (e.g., LabWare, STARLIMS, LabVantage, Thermo Fisher, CoreLIMS).
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder communication, resource planning, and risk management.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research environments.
- Familiarity with integration of LIMS with instruments, ERP, ELN, or data warehouses.
- Understanding of validation documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ) processes.
