SAP Basis Consultant

Type: Part-Time - Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant for a part-time engagement to support our SAP landscape, including system administration, performance tuning, upgrades, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration across multiple environments and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform SAP Basis administration for SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager, etc.).
Manage system installations, upgrades, and migrations.
Monitor system performance and execute tuning activities.
Manage user administration, roles, and authorizations.
Perform kernel upgrades, patch management, and transport management.
Ensure system backups, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness.
Maintain high availability and system health checks.
Coordinate with functional and development teams for smooth operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
3 7 years of SAP Basis administration experience.
Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, and HANA DB administration.
Experience with OS and DB administration (Windows/Linux, HANA, Oracle, MS SQL).
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager setup and monitoring tools.
Understanding of SAP system copies, refreshes, and client strategy.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours as per project needs.
