DELTEK Cobra Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Deltek Cobra Developer to maintain and enhance our project cost and earned value management (EVM) solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Deltek Cobra implementations by developing, integrating, and maintaining components that enable tracking and analysis of project performance. This role requires close collaboration with project controls, finance, and scheduling teams to ensure compliance with EVM standards such as EIA-748. Key Responsibilities Maintain and enhance Deltek Cobra solutions for cost tracking, forecasting, and performance analysis. Develop and support software components using .NET and the .NET Framework. Perform database operations and management using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Integrate Deltek Cobra with scheduling and ERP tools including Primavera, MS Project, Deltek Open Plan, and Deltek Costpoint. Ensure data accuracy and compliance with government contracting and EVM standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver reliable, scalable proje ct control solutions. Required Qualifications Proven experience with Deltek Cobra and earned value management (EVM) systems. Proficiency in .NET development and related frameworks. Strong skills in database management using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Experience integrating project control tools such as Primavera, MS Project, Deltek Open Plan, and Deltek Costpoint. Strong understanding of EVM standards, particularly EIA-748. Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within government contracting or similar regulated environments. Familiarity with ERP systems and project scheduling tools beyond those listed. Knowledge of additional programming languages or development frameworks. Certifications Relevant certifications in project management, software development, or earned value management (e.g., PMP, EVMP) are a plus but not required. Certification: Project Management Professional
