Job Overview:
AARA TECH INC. is actively seeking a self-driven and technically proficient AWS/DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for entry-level professionals or entry level candidates who are passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and infrastructure as code. You ll work closely with senior engineers to build, manage, and scale infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support development and deployment operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure and services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
Set up, manage, and monitor CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Support containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling operations to improve reliability and performance.
Monitor cloud environments for security, performance, and cost optimization.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient build, test, and release processes.
Perform basic troubleshooting of application issues, environments, and deployment failures.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards across cloud environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
0 2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Administration (Internships accepted).
Fundamental understanding of AWS core services and architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with Docker containers and container orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).
Strong desire to learn, adapt, and grow in a cloud-native environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or any AWS Associate-level certification.
Exposure to monitoring/logging tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Understanding of networking concepts such as VPC, Subnets, NAT, and Security Groups.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
