We are seeking a Client Advocate to serve as the liaison between IT and internal business stakeholders, supporting cross-functional communication, service delivery, and systems integration. This role is responsible for prioritizing work requests, monitoring service levels, and driving continuous improvement through collaboration, innovation, and client-centered support.


Details

  • Type: Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday–Thursday)

  • Location: Columbia, SC

  • Work Hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; on-call as needed, with occasional overtime based on workload


Qualifications

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant job experience; OR 2 years of relevant experience plus an associate’s degree

  • Experience:

    • 5 years in IT-related roles

    • Experience in client relationship management, IT marketing, and process/product improvement

  • Skills:

    • Strong communication and organizational skills

    • High customer service orientation

    • Basic understanding of IT processes and terminology

    • Requirements gathering expertise

    • Exposure to server, mainframe, and application technologies

Preferred:

  • Prior experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) within a technical/IT environment

  • Background in technical support, infrastructure implementation, or incident response

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies


Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management (40%)
    Define business needs, prioritize requests, negotiate timelines and budgets, and track deliverables to ensure alignment with client goals and cost efficiency.

  • Systems/Service Monitoring (30%)
    Monitor service levels and SLAs, produce performance metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives based on client feedback.

  • Account Management (15%)
    Act as the primary liaison between IT and the business unit; gather and communicate client requirements; ensure solutions align with strategic goals.

  • Internal Marketing (10%)
    Promote IT products and services that add value; assist in solution packaging, pricing, and delivery tailored to customer needs.

  • Product Improvement (5%)
    Identify new IT opportunities and match client needs with appropriate products or services through proactive discovery and internal collaboration.
