Description

SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Security Principal to assist in developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. In this role you will:
  • Study and implement security regulations that apply to customer operations and relay them to supporting contractors
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
  • Conduct security education classes and security audits
  • Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
  • Participate in development of advanced concepts, techniques, and standards
  • Establish operational objectives and assignments
  • Be involve in developing, modifying and executing customer policies which impact immediate operation(s)
  • Participate in development of solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity and innovation. Challenges are often unique and solutions may serve precedent for future decisions.
  • Work under consultative direction toward pre-determined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated.
  • Serve as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives

Qualifications
  • Current TS/SCI & Poly
  • Intimate working knowledge of customer security process
  • Knowledge of ICD 705
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
  • Minimum of 14 years of relevant security experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or experience in lieu of degree will be considered
  • Ability to maintain periods of extended travel for 4-6 weeks
