Job Description:

Position: Techno-Functional Oracle Payroll Consultant

Location: Remote
  • Comfort with traveling onsite to Charter on their own dime for the first week

Contract Length: Through EOY, potential to extend

Top Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of experience of Oracle Cloud HCM, payroll module
  • Deep understanding of Payroll Processing, US Taxes and Payroll Accounting
  • Understanding of End-to-End integrations between HR, Compensation and Payroll
  • Creation and maintenance of Elements and the Fast Formulas associated
  • Elements is specific to Payroll Module
  • Use of Oracle Cloud methodologies to create new, enhance, and troubleshoot components/tools such as HDL/HSDL, Fast Formulas, HCM Extract and OTBI, BI Publisher
  • Tables used in Oracle HCM for support and reporting needs

    Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics: This role is within a HR technology team that focuses specifically on payroll. This organization implemented Oracle HCM Fusion about a year ago and are continuing to build their teams as their SI partner has rolled off. This person should have expert understanding of Payroll Module within Oracle HCM as well as significant experience with Core HR and Compensation Modules. The team is seeking someone that understands the configuration and integrations between the modules and can look at the application wholistically to provide design recommendations and troubleshooting assistance to technical teams. This role will involve solutioning, testing and configuration. This person will be viewed as a payroll SME to ensure upgrades do not fail, to design and report build requirements to technical teams who will do the hands on development work. An ongoing initiative is to integrate the 200+ vendors into the Oracle suite to ensure proper functionality. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of payroll processing, Oracle HCM Payroll Module and be comfortable working in a heavily functionality capacity with an understanding of technical concepts to provide recommendations and solve problems.
