We're a human network that reaches across the globe and works behind the scenes. We anticipate, lead, and believe that listening is where learning begins. In crisis and in celebration, we come together-lifting up our communities and striving to make an impact to move the world forward. If you're fueled by purpose, and powered by persistence, explore a career with us. Here, you'll discover the rigor it takes to make a difference and the fulfillment that comes with living the #NetworkLife.

Verizon continues to pave the way towards an industry-leading customer-centric strategy and is focused on rapidly evolving our business for a digital-first future. We are seeking strategic thinkers, thought leaders, and highly motivated risk takers who are not afraid to innovate around our customer's needs, drive business objectives and maximize technology capabilities towards re-defining the path of a Fortune 15 company in the digital age.

What you'll be doing:

The e-commerce product manager will be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to drive growth, increase revenue, reduce cost and improve the digital experience for customers. You will be responsible for driving digital sales growth by converting business prospects via digital. You will ensure tight linkage between cross functional teams and business owners to define sales initiatives in partnership with the optimization of our funnel and the ecommerce APIs across marketplace platforms. You must also ensure highly effective and mutually-rewarding customer and stakeholder relationships, and effectively communicate project and/or issue status to Verizon key stakeholders and executives. You must be an action oriented, results driven professional with a history of achievement operating in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage repeatable ecommerce ordering experiences.
  • Manage the Digital e-commerce funnel for Verizon, with a focus on new customer acquisition for small & medium businesses.
  • Deliver improved margins through lower costs of acquisition, higher revenue at the point of sale and accretion over the customer tenure through upgrades and retention while reducing the cost to serve.
  • Build new features and optimize digital capabilities that drive recurring revenue through the positioning of the Verizon Business eCommerce sales flow.
  • Track product performance and metrics: Monitor KPIs to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner with cross functional teams during the development and implementation of key digital solutions that cross multiple channels, including demand generation partners.
  • Oversee multiple, simultaneous digital/technical work streams, liaising with other teams for planning, knowledge management and standards development that can support scalability and efficiency.
  • Drives continual evolution and enhancement of the digital customer experience.
  • Drive the product vision and support the build of product roadmaps.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders: Clearly articulate product roadmap and progress to various stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders (CMO, Sourcing, Ops Support, IT, Device Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Vendors and Agencies) teams to maximize channel performance.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more of work experience.
  • Six years or more of relevant experience.
  • One or more years of experience in building Digital Channel experiences.
  • Four or more years of experience in product management or digital.
  • Knowledge on the use of A/B testing to optimize digital experiences.
  • Experience with Product Development/Management tools (Jira / Confluence).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Experience working in a large company where implementing change requires efficient communication and dynamic thinking.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend action plans to resolve issues.
  • Experience defining and driving the vision of experience programs and/or partnership based programs.
  • Experience working with credit and risk profiles.
  • Knowledge of consumer behavior and industry best practices around consumer-driven experiences.
  • Empathetic and excellent at building strong relationships with a diverse set of customers and stakeholders from across the business. Ability to influence without authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to think independently, strong collaboration and partnership skills, and attention to detail with executive level presentation experience.

If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every "even better" qualification listed above.
