Location: Columbia SC
Duration: 12 Months
Role is hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with a strong background in Cisco technologies, network infrastructure, and cloud integration. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in managing, configuring, and securing complex enterprise networks across on-premises and cloud environments (Azure preferred).
This role requires a proactive professional who can effectively troubleshoot, design, and implement secure network solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and security of the organization s infrastructure.
Required Skills (in order of importance):
6+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco Firewalls
4 6 years of experience with Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
6+ years of experience managing Cisco VPNs
6+ years of experience using Wireshark for network analysis
2+ years of experience with Azure Cloud and Virtualization technologies
4 6 years of experience with Cisco Routers
6+ years of experience with Cisco Switches and hardware administration
6+ years of experience with DHCP configuration and management
6+ years of demonstrated knowledge in multi-tiered architectures, emerging technologies, networks, and data management systems
2 4 years of experience in Data Center, Cloud, and Network Infrastructure environments
6+ years of proven ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with technical and non-technical teams
4 6 years of experience with a valid driver s license (onsite support as needed)

Self-starter with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

6+ years of experience in design and operations of public/private networks (LAN/MAN/WAN)
Design experience includes server, router, switch, firewall placement and specification
Experience in remote access systems, network management, and cloud storage
Expertise in securing data in transmission
Required Education/Certifications:
Bachelor s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline
Preferred Education/Certifications:
CCNP Routing & Switching
CCNA Security
