Job Details

A fast-growing technology company that is becoming a prominent figure in the youth sports marketplace is looking for a Full-Stack Software Developer. In this role being passionate about youth sports is a must. You will be creating beneficial software that millions of coaches, parents, and sports administrators will be using. This full-time position is based in Chicago and is looking for candidates that have experience with C# and .Net Core 6+.
The goal of this software that you are is to alleviate the headaches of running a youth sports club and focus on what is important, which is kids playing sports. Other tasks in this role include working with managers, stakeholders, and user experience specialists to ensure functionality with the youth sports club management program. A skilled software engineer is crucial while responsibilities revolve around building software by writing code and modifying software to fix errors.

Required Skills & Experience
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of professional experience in software development
  • Proficiency with technology languages & frameworks that include C#, .NET Core 6+, Angular, Typescript and SQL
  • Knowledge with agile development methodologies
  • Skilled in problem-solving
  • Ability to analytically defend design decisions and be responsive to feedback
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability
What You Will Be Doing
Full Stack
  • 50% Front End
  • 50% Back End
Daily Responsibilities
  • Work with product managers and developers to define future product direction
  • Construct the database and code structure to deliver functionality that will deliver positive results
  • Create code that adheres to the specifications, user stories and tickets for web and mobile applications
  • Interact with 3rd party vendors to define and develop integrations to other platforms
  • Use AI to gain ground in code creation and unit testing
  • Test and debug new product features to ensure functionality is delivered with ease
  • Spectate platform traffic and adjust to deliver good application performance
