Title: Salesforce CPQ Consultant
Location : Remote
Target Start Date : January 5th
Type: Contract - 25 hours per week

Our client seeks a Salesforce Functional Consultant who can support ongoing design, configuration, development, and deployment activities across Salesforce Core and Salesforce CPQ. This resource will operate as part of an agile delivery team and work against an established product backlog.

Key Responsibilities

1. Salesforce Configuration & Build

- Configure Salesforce Core (objects, fields, flows, automation, permission sets, page layouts).
- Configure Salesforce CPQ (products, pricing, quoting processes).
- Support enhancements and incremental platform improvements.
- Perform light troubleshooting and functional break/fix.
- Execute sandbox-to-production deployments.

2. Requirements Gathering & User Story Development
- Run requirements sessions with internal Product Managers and business SMEs.
- Produce clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and configuration notes.
- Map as-is and to-be business processes.
- Estimate level of effort for backlog items.

3. Agile Delivery & Backlog Support

- Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews).
- Work from a defined backlog and help refine ticket details.
- Provide regular updates on progress, blockers, and risks.

4. Testing & Release Enablement
- Support UAT cycles with business owners.
- Validate configuration against acceptance criteria.
- Address defects quickly to meet sprint timelines.

5. Documentation & Reporting
- Document configurations, process flows, and deployment steps.
- Deliver weekly progress reporting (burn-down, hours, status).
- Communicate proactively with our client's Product Manager and project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience Must Have:

- 3-7+ years Salesforce experience in an admin/functional capacity
- Hands-on Salesforce CPQ experience - Strong experience with flows, automation, declarative configuration
- Ability to partner with business teams and convert needs into stories
- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently

Nice to Have:
- MuleSoft familiarity
- Salesforce certifications
- Prior consulting experience
