Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst to find opportunities to improve business processes through changes in operations and/or through technological implementations.
What You'll Do
- The analyst will work closely with our business-side partners to analyze and document their processes, identifying unnecessary processes and time wasters, and coming up with suggestions for improvement
- They will be expected to write user stories in Azure DevOps to translate business needs into technical requirements
- They will determine what all is needed, ensuring the requirements list is concise but complete
- They will also work with product owners to prioritize requirements and help determine order of implementation for changes and features
What You'll Need
Required:
- A solid understanding of how to find/implement business efficiencies
- Experience working with developers in an Agile development environment is critical to success
- Experience working with software development teams
- 3 years' experience working with Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server
- 5 years' experience working with IT departments and development teams to ensure they align with business goals
- 5 years' experience creating detailed documentation of business requirements, processes and solutions
- 5 years' experience working with stakeholders to identify and define business requirements
Preferred:
- Experience working with Microsoft Clarity or similar tracking software
- 3 years experience interpreting state and federal statutes and using them to define business processes
- State government experience
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
