Job Title: LeapWork test scripting Lead
Location: Annapolis, MD 21401
Type: Hybrid - Three days on-site & two days remote
Duration: 05 Yeras-01-year contract with 04 years optional
Summary
The LeapWork test scripting resource will support the Quality Assurance team, on testing diverse applications within the Information Systems department.
Minimum qualifications:
a. Bachelor's degree in information management systems, or a related field.
b. Valid Leap Work Test Automation Certification received within the past three (3) years.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing plan, design, script and deployment of scripts for applications within the testing environments.
a. Resource shall assist the office in all technical aspects and assure the completion of any assigned project.
b. Resource shall perform configuration and development activities specific to the LeapWork test scripting solution, and in accordance with the mutually agreed upon requirements, at that time, of the office
c. Resource shall train the QA staff on more efficient ways to handle certain LeapWork functions and transfer knowledge.
d. Resource shall provide technical leadership and guidance on LeapWork test scripting and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices.
2. Support for LeapWork modules with the following tasks:
a. Build LeapWork framework based upon prioritized test cases, mentorship of QA resources on best practices by jointly developing test flows. Meet with client to transition hand-over work document.
b. Develop test scenarios based on the application requirements.
c. Create detailed documentation of test cases and automation logic.
d. Develop manual test scripts from which the automated test scripts will be based.
e. Create automated test flows within the LeapWork platform for each identified process.
f. Document all the troubleshooting steps and efforts.
g. Create reports on test execution results and defect logging.
h. Create user training materials for maintaining and expanding automation efforts.
Experience, & Capabilities:
a. Experience:
(1) Ten (10) years' experience in all aspects of the Quality Assurance process, including review of requirements, design of scenarios and scripts and development of QA tools test scripts. Eight (8) years of said experience attained in different platforms of Information Technology development environment, such as cloud computing and on-premise solutions,
(2) Three (3) engagements with LeapWork test scripting within the previous thirty-six (36) months
(3) Tracking tools (e.g., Service Now).
(4) Automated testing tools such as LeapWork, Selenium, Silk Test, Rational Functional Tester.
b. Ability to:
(1) Thoroughly document and troubleshoot errors.
(2) Interpret test cases for high-level and functional processes.
(3) Work effectively in a virtual team environment.
c. Knowledge of:
(1) Testing methodology and practices.
(2) Relevant operating systems and software development fundamentals.
(3) SQL at a basic level.
(4) Web Applications.
(5) Desktop Applications.
(6) Data Driven Automation.
(7) Reusability and Sub-flows.
(8) Locator Control in Automation.
(9) Schedules and Run Lists.
(10) Reports and Dashboards.
(11) Performance Troubleshooting Specialist.
(12) System test life cycle, review process, and test case documentation.
(13) Agile, Scrum, waterfall methodologies
(14) Process and gap analysis skills
Location: Work shall be performed in a hybrid setting each week, Monday through Friday, as follows:
a. Two (2) days remote at a suitable off-site location selected by the office (1) The office reserves the right to determine an off-site location is not suitable (e.g., crowded public space with distracting background noise during meetings). b. Three (3) days on site at the client office. 2. On-site support may be required. As designated by the Chief Technology Officer, the proposed resource(s) must be able to report on-site within twenty-four (24) hours after notification. a. If required to report, the Resource shall report. b. The office does not have a limit on the number of times the proposed resource may be required to be onsite. 3. The office reserves the right to regularly evaluate performance and modify the allocation of onsite and remote work effort in the event of a decline in resource performance. 4. The office reserves the right to modify the allocation of onsite and remote work effort throughout. In the event of a modification, the Manager will coordinate with the resource on a mutually agreeable allocation of work effort. 5 Unless there are extenuating circumstances, Offerors shall not anticipate receiving approval for remote work from a country other than the United States of America.
Schedule:
1. Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM Eastern Standard Time (EDT).
a. The proposed resource shall have the flexibility to extend coverage hours or schedule to meet deadlines, project requirements, and/or on-call operational support, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
b. The Project Manager or Department/Senior Manager must approve work prior to or after normal operation hours, not to exceed 1,960 hours per year.
2. A one (1) to two (2) week training period will be provided to acclimate the successful resource in the methods, processes, equipment, and software used by the department.
