About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in air vehicle systems to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on developing and implementing advanced manufacturing processes and digital work instructions for complex aerospace assemblies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CATIA V5, Teamcenter, and vehicle systems such as hydraulics, fuel, electrical, and propulsion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, and quality teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Drive adoption of automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing technologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
  • Create and analyze 3D model data to develop digital work instructions and optimize build sequences.
  • Define operations procedures leveraging materials knowledge and automated processes.
  • Evaluate equipment performance using IoT data and initiate corrective actions to ensure operational excellence.
  • Develop statistical process control strategies and integrate data analytics for continuous improvement.
  • Provide design-for-manufacturing input to product teams to enhance manufacturability and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of recent CATIA V5 experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of recent Teamcenter experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in air vehicle systems (hydraulics, fuel, electrical, propulsion, etc.).
  • Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing environments.
  • Strong background in developing visual work instructions for production teams.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing disciplines including assembly, machining, electrical harness fabrication, and systems installation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with final assembly operations in aerospace.
  • Knowledge of digital manufacturing and factory automation tools.
  • Exposure to IoT-based performance monitoring and analytics.
