RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Summary:
As a Scrum Master, you will be a proactive leader and Agile champion embedded within a cross-functional product team. Your mission is to drive delivery excellence, foster collaboration, and uphold Agile values while ensuring that product initiatives align with the commitment to exceptional guest experiences and business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Leadership & Facilitation:
* Champion Agile practices across cross-functional teams
* Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
* Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and ensure clarity of scope and expectations
Delivery Ownership:
* Act as a delivery partner to Product Owners and Managers
* Track, report, and communicate progress, risks, and blockers to leadership
* Proactively identify risks, escalate issues, and propose actionable solutions
Quality & Accountability:
* Protect the team from accepting poorly defined or unvetted stories
* Ensure that product features enhance the end-to-end customer experience
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master
* Hands-on, veteran-level experience, beyond just process facilitation
* Strong leadership and communication skills; adept at escalation and resolution
* Must be on site in Fort Lauderdale, FL three days per week
* Background in e-commerce, travel, or related industries preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
