Mid-Level Software Developer

Software Resources has immediate job opportunities for Mid-Level Software Developers with a major corporation in Los Angeles, CA.

On-site 1 day per week in Century City and 4 days remote.
6+ month contract with potential to extend.
Pay Rate: $60 - $73/hr DOE
Position Overview:
As a Software Engineer Contractor, you bring strong programming skills and a keen eye for detail to develop and test high-quality software solutions. You collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to implement features that meet customer requirements and align with industry standards. You are comfortable working with existing codebases, contributing to new development, and ensuring code quality through thorough testing. You stay current with evolving technologies and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to grow your technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to a massive application rewrite integral to our business
• Work as an individual as well as within a team structure to deliver quality code
• Recommend enhancements and improvements where appropriate
• Develop with usability and scalability in mind
• Follow software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology and best practices
• Review code and provide feedback on areas that need improvement
• Design and develop visual and functional specifications when appropriate
• Develop interactive websites and solutions using C#, ASP.NET, Angular, Entity Framework and SQL
• Prime Ng, NgRx, X Unit, SSIS, and SSRS skills are a plus
• Support acceptance tests and production tests
• Produce emergency and permanent fixes
• Take preventive actions that will improve applications reliability and performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 6 years+ in-depth .NET, Entity Framework, REST API, unit testing programming skills required
• Experience with Angular 8+ will be helpful.
• Thorough understanding and experience working with large relational databases required (SQL experience is preferred.)
• Experience with the Agile SCRUM methodologies is preferred
• A commitment to producing top-quality, well-designed, and flexible custom applications
• Strong programming ability, with great attention to detail and design
• Demonstrated ability to design and assist in the timely delivery of high-quality software
• Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills
• Dedication to a collaborative working style and the ability to work well in small teams
• A desire to learn and use new technologies
• Service-oriented and hold a high level of integrity
• Self-motivated with a high level of enthusiasm
• Ability to work in a fast-paced/dynamic team environment and possess time management skills to meet schedules
