Responsibilities:
- Monitor the flow of activity within the room to ensure that foot traffic moves smoothly without congestion.
- Assist attendees by answering general questions and directing them to appropriate areas or personnel for further assistance.
- Communicate effectively with event staff to coordinate and provide necessary support throughout the event.
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor at all times, serving as a point of contact for attendees.
- Support the overall success of the event by contributing to an organized and welcoming environment.
- Ensure all areas are kept clear and accessible, adhering to safety and security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event support or customer service roles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle inquiries with professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in event management is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly as needed.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
