Job Details

DevOps Engineer (San Diego, CA):

Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure. Configure and manage EC2 instances, VPCs, VPC Peering, Subnets, Route Tables, and Security Groups, and design inbound and outbound rules. Work with various load balancers and target groups to support protocols like TCP, HTTP, and HTTPS, design launch configurations, and automate instance management using Auto Scaling groups. Create IAM users and roles, implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and configure EBS volumes with Customer Managed Keys for encryption. Maintain DNS records in Route 53, manage backups and policies in S3 buckets, and work with databases such as RDS (MySQL and PostgreSQL), Redshift, and DynamoDB. Maintain CloudFormation scripts for EKS nodes and EBS CMK keys, use AWS Secrets Manager to store sensitive information, and configure CloudWatch for monitoring services. Create snapshots for backups, manage AMIs, deploy applications using Elastic Beanstalk, handle data storage with ElastiCache, and manage content delivery with CloudFront. Use Kubernetes for container orchestration, use ECR for Docker image management, and deploy these images in Kubernetes clusters. Use Terraform and Ansible for automation, maintain the ELK stack for log management, configure Jenkins for CI/CD processes, troubleshoot protocols, and use JFrog for build storage. Manage plugins and scripts in Jenkins, monitor application traffic using Grafana and Graphite, integrate alerts with Slack, and use Bitbucket for source code management. Use Jira for ticketing and sprint planning. Req: Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering (software, electrical, or computer) or a related field plus 1 year of experience in occupations involving similar duties/technical capabilities. To support project(s) at client site(s), domestic relocation and/or travel may be required 0-2 times per year based on needs of client(s). Relocation benefits offered.
