Job Summary:
seeking a highly skilled Test Lead to spearhead verification and validation efforts in software and hardware testing for power systems and embedded technologies. This role is critical to ensuring product reliability and quality through strategic test planning, execution, and optimization. The Test Lead will collaborate with development teams, product leadership, and stakeholders to implement best practices, enhance efficiency, and improve overall system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure thorough verification, integration, and validation of power system products.
- Analyze user requirements, use cases, and system specifications to align test coverage with project goals.
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of system-level, integration, and component-level testing, including functional, regression, and validation testing.
- Design, maintain, and expand automated test frameworks to optimize testing efficiency and reliability.
- Manage test execution, defect tracking, and traceability using industry-leading tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve customer-reported issues, ensuring efficient root cause identification.
- Assess test results to drive go/no-go release decisions, ensuring system stability and compliance with specifications.
- Mentor and guide test engineers, promoting best practices, continuous improvement, and technical innovation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance overall test coverage and maximize product reliability.
- Continuously refine testing processes and methodologies to maintain industry-leading quality standards.
- Generate comprehensive test status reports, providing insights into progress, coverage, and key quality metrics.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 6+ years leading software/hardware testing teams in a high-tech environment.
- Proven ability to develop test plans, schedule testing activities, and estimate tasks for system releases.
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting, defect analysis, and root cause identification.
- In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, including Regression, Functional, Performance, Black Box, White Box, and Integration testing.
- Experience managing traceability across test plans, test cases, automation sequences, and requirements using test management tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills with a focus on driving quality improvements.
- Experience working on international and multi-site development projects.
