Desktop Support Analyst

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Tier 2 Desktop Support Technician to join a growing client of ours. This Desktop Support Technician will provide end user support to our local office. You will be responsible for providing tier 2 deskside support for various end users. We need a technician that is able to provide exceptional customer service as well as strong troubleshooting/analytical skills. A typical day will involve troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving problems related to user accounts, desktops, laptops, operating systems, VPN connectivity, print/file, O365, password resets, hardware and software related issues.. • 2+ years' experience providing IT support


• Experience troubleshooting Windows O/S, Office365, VPN and printer connectivity issues


• Must have troubleshooting and repairing skills for laptops, PC's, mobile devices and printers


• Basic networking knowledge and understanding of frontline troubleshooting procedures


• Experience working with and documenting user issues within a ticketing system


• Ability to communicate technology issues and technical concepts to various levels of users and stake holders in uncomplicated non-technical way


• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
