Position: SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing Deployment SME / Project Lead

Location: Maplewood, MN (Local candidates strongly preferred - MN/WI) , Or someone nearby who can relocate

Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing Deployment SME / Project Lead to support deployment, testing, and factory transitions for a global S/4 manufacturing program. The ideal candidate will have deep SAP ECC/S4 knowledge, hands-on manufacturing rollout experience, strong UAT coordination skills, and the ability to work across highly regulated industries such as Medical Devices, Defense, or Government.

This role is highly cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with global MAKE process owners, factories, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and alignment with corporate quality and financial standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5+ years of SAP implementation and support experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record supporting manufacturing deployments, system testing, and UAT.
  • Experience working with regulated industries (preferred: medical devices, defense, government, or pharma).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across global cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel to multiple factory locations as required.
  • Experience with SAP S/4 PPDS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling).
  • Experience with SAP S/4 Embedded EWM.
  • Hands-on expertise with qTest, JIRA, or similar tools for test management.
  • Prior involvement in multi-site S/4 transformation initiatives.
