Job Details

The Area Director will report to the Director of the Advanced Technical Solutions - Application Services team. This role will be responsible for developing a strategy and plan to handle future growth in the various technical verticals through capacity planning, training, and process improvement. This role will also provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to technical staff as they execute their assigned engagements. Additionally, this role will be responsible for helping their leadership team/peers expand current offerings and push new processes out to the rest of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of individual contributor engineer roles with low to moderate complexity and less experienced managers who are responsible for building high quality capabilities with modern technology
  • Perform capacity planning for the pipeline of technical engagements
  • Manage allocation of people and resources for technology engineering including career development and performance management for engineers and managers on the team
  • Hire, mentor and guide talent development of direct reports to build the skills required to effectively design and deliver innovative solutions for client needs
  • Serve as an escalation path to internal customers
  • Align with local sales to support pre and post sales engagements
  • Build cultural continuity across global peer team

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 15+ years of IT experience and minimum of 5 years of technical management experience, preferably in a Services environment
  • Prior experience managing engineering teams or technical staff in a project execution capacity
  • Ability to establish executive level relationships across the various business and technology organizations
  • Leverage curiosity and learn new skills to operate in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Experience of working across one or more geographic territories or regions
  • Ability to drive innovation, empower and motivate a team of seasoned team members in an agile environment

Note- candidates should be based in Hyderabad and should be willing to work in a hybrid mode.
