Job Title: Wireless Network Engineer
Location: Las Vegas, NV

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade Wi-Fi solutions, particularly high-density environments (stadiums, campuses, corporate floors, public spaces, etc.).
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Cisco Access Points, Cisco Prime, DNA Center, and related wireless infrastructure.
- Perform wireless site surveys (active, passive, predictive) using tools like Ekahau or AirMagnet.
- Monitor wireless performance, conduct RF analysis, and ensure optimal throughput, roaming, and minimal interference.
- Manage wireless security standards including 802.1X, WPA2/WPA3, RADIUS, TACACS+, and segmentation policies.
- Implement wireless capacity planning, channel planning, and AP placement strategies.
- Resolve connectivity issues across the WLAN environment, analyzing logs, RF conditions, interference sources, and client behavior.
- Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams to support overall enterprise network initiatives.
- Document network designs, configurations, test results, and optimization recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 10+ years of experience as a Wireless Network Engineer in large enterprise environments.
- Strong, hands-on expertise with Cisco wireless technologies, including WLCs, APs, DNA Center, and Prime Infrastructure.
- Proven experience deploying and supporting high-density Wi-Fi networks.
- Deep understanding of Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), RF fundamentals, and wireless design best practices.
- Proficiency with wireless survey tools (Ekahau, AirMagnet) and RF troubleshooting tools (spectrum analyzers, packet capture).
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN fundamentals, routing, switching, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and network security.
- Certifications like CCNP Wireless, CWNA, CWDP, CWSP are a strong plus.
