  • Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with the following:

    • Eliciting requirements from interviews with customers and creating well-written system requirements.
    • Software development life cycles.
    • Business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement.
    • Developing user stories and use cases that conform to business analysis best practices.
    • Designing mockups and wireframes that conform to UX best practices.


    Minimum of five (5) years of experience with the following:

    • Demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills.
    • Proven strong writing and organization skills.


    PREFERRED

    Minimum of three (3) years of experience with the following:

    • Requirements management software Modern Requirements
    • Issue tracking software Atlassian Jira


    Minimum of two (2) years of experience with the following:

    • Working for or closely with TEA or another state or local education agency


    Minimum of one (1) year of experience with the following:

    • Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Performs advanced, senior-level business analysis work as well as user experience design work to ensure a positive and productive end user experience.
    • Ensure design decisions are grounded in user experience and research and adhere to agency-wide design standards and industry-wide best practices and will partner with the product team and other key stakeholders on design solutions.
    • Serves as the conduit between the program and customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow.
    • Involved at some level throughout the entire software development life cycle.
    • Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, the focus is shifted towards the management of the requirements specification and verifying the fulfillment of all requirements, including requirements for enhancements post-implementation.
