Job Details

Role Summary

You will take technical ownership of product activation workflows, STEP FOCUS integration, and system-level orchestration. This role combines deep backend engineering expertise with hands-on leadership, ensuring that integration pipelines, APIs, and automation configurations are scalable, maintainable, and business-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead backend integration between STEP and FOCUS platforms, ensuring reliability and performance.

  • Design and guide API architecture, microservices structures, and config-based automation patterns.

  • Mentor development teams, providing code-level guidance and architectural oversight.

  • Support the rollout and optimization of product activation pipelines.

  • Partner with QA and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, testable, and secure solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend service development.

  • Proven expertise in designing and consuming REST APIs.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Harness and Jenkins.

  • Understanding of STEP MDM data structures and POS automation workflows.

  • Experience with Bitbucket, Workshop CLI (read-only usage), and SQL.
