About the Role:
I am seeking an experienced SAP IBP Lead to join a dynamic ERP team supporting global operations. This is a strategic role requiring hands-on expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), S/4 HANA ePPDS, and Supply Chain Planning processes. The selected candidate will lead consulting engagements, ensure solution integrity, and contribute significantly to digital transformation journey post their SAP S/4 HANA & IBP go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and troubleshoot SAP Supply Chain Planning (IBP/ePPDS) processes, delivering timely enhancements and fixes (RICEFW).
- Own release management for supply chain-related SAP components (IBP, S&OP, PPDS, inventory planning).
- Deliver solutions for tactical and operational planning scenarios.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, solution architects, and implementation partners to ensure alignment and value delivery.
- Estimate efforts, define and document solutions, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Support daily operations, including incident/change/problem management.
- Oversee user acceptance testing, training, documentation, and go-live support.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (GxP, SOX) and adhere to architectural governance.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of SAP experience in Supply Chain Planning with deep expertise in S/4 HANA ePPDS and SAP IBP.
- Strong functional knowledge of S/4 HANA modules (PP, MM), APO, and HANA Enterprise.
- Experience in integrations (SAP CPI, SAP PO) and tools (Solution Manager, ServiceNow).
- Proven ability in PP/DS heuristics, optimizer configuration, CIF integration, and interactive planning.
- Familiarity with SAP IBP modules: Response & Supply, Inventory, S&OP, Control Tower.
Functional Expertise:
Non-Negotiable: Detailed understanding of S/4 ePPDS and good understanding of planning business processes as it relates to Demand and Supply.
- Minimum 1 2 full lifecycle implementations in SAP ePPDS; 8 12 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of planning processes: Demand, Supply, Production Planning, and Deployment.
- Hands-on with Detailed Scheduling Board (on-prem and FIORI), lot sizing strategies, and overload resolution.
- Ability to analyze and adjust planning scenarios using "why-why" analysis and DS tools.
- Capable of interpreting and transforming business needs into scalable SAP solutions.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in the Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical domain.
- Working knowledge of MM, PP, SD modules in SAP.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- Strong documentation, time management, and communication skills.
- Customer-centric with a high level of accountability and ownership.
