Job Purpose:

These efforts are expected to result in a robust, secure, and efficient data foundation that will support case management and decision-making processes within the DFPS child welfare and adult protection programs. The data analysis and remediation activities shall also align with DFPS s compliance with federal and state regulations and its goal of providing uninterrupted services to the children and families it serves.

Data Management Services are needed in support of data cleansing efforts for the new system. The scope of these Services shall include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Assist DFPS in managing the overall data cleansing effort, assessing the quality of the data in the existing system and any related DFPS systems.
  • Assist DFPS in guiding the data cleansing effort through instruction and clear processes.
  • Assist DFPS in communicating with DFPS subject matter experts (SMEs) on the planned data cleansing routines to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Assist DFPS in reporting to management on progress on a regular basis.

As the Project Manager, the job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or oversee a team to get the job done, coordinating cross functional teams and managing stakeholder communications. The Project Manager will facilitate collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure readiness for the new case management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, plan, and evaluate project(s) using defined project management methodologies.
  • Identify risks/issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate between technical and business teams to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, DFPS IT management, and DFPS data teams to facilitate successful completion of project tasks.
