* Participate in on-call rotation for network incidents and validate MSP recommendations for performance and security compliance
* Lead HQ network modernization efforts (LAN/WAN redesign, switch/firewall upgrades, vendor stack changes) and contribute to vendor/tool evaluations
* Support office expansions by designing and delivering network capabilities in collaboration with Workplace and vendor teams
* Ensure smooth transition of responsibilities to internal teams and MSP, identify technical debt, and propose improvements

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering roles
* Deep hands-on expertise in enterprise network design, configuration, and troubleshooting across wired and wireless environments
* Ability to work independently, triage issues, and improve existing infrastructure
* Strong documentation skills and experience collaborating with internal teams and external vendors

Strong hands-on experience with:
* Layer 2/3 switching and routing (Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent)
* Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, or equivalent)
* Wireless network design and tuning for high-density environments
* WAN optimization

Familiarity with:
* Network monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, CheckMK)
* Cloud networking concepts
* Secure networking principles and Zero Trust architectures
* Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, collaboration, and communication skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:
* Network certifications (CCNP, CWNA, PCNSE, etc.)
* Experience supporting or partnering with Managed Network Service Providers
* Previous contract roles or experience onboarding into unfamiliar environments quickly
