Job Description
The Senior ServiceNow Leader will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for driving operational excellence through ServiceNow strategy, IT asset optimization, and enterprise discovery. The role will focus on aligning technology, processes, and teams for measurable business outcomes. The candidate will lead the design, development, and administration of the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives, ITIL processes, and delivering a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain ServiceNow modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
- Design, script, and implement new applications, workflows, and custom integrations to expand platform functionality.
- Develop and maintain API-based integrations using REST/SOAP between ServiceNow and enterprise systems.
- Partner with IT and business teams to refine workflows, automate processes, and improve service delivery.
- Implement security best practices including role-based access controls and compliance monitoring.
- Plan and execute version upgrades, patching, and ongoing platform maintenance.
- Create technical and user documentation; conduct training sessions for system users and administrators.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow administration and development experience.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow Studio.
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with capability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ITOM Discovery, Event Management, or Performance Analytics.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
