Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to oversee and enhance the performance, security, and scalability of IT infrastructures across corporate and client environments. This role encompasses managing on-premises systems, cloud platforms like Microsoft 365 and Azure, as well as network operations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to ensuring the reliability and security of critical systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain network infrastructure for corporate and client operations, including Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Active Directory environments.
Manage security solutions such as firewalls (Palo Alto), endpoint protection tools, and mobile device management platforms.
Lead the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, upgrades, and new implementations to align with organizational goals.
Provide expert-level technical support for desktops, servers, mobile devices, and telecom systems.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation, software inventories, and patch management processes.
Work closely with third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure secure and efficient IT operations.
Offer high-level technical support to executives and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Travel occasionally to client locations to assist with network installations, troubleshooting, and project management.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise IT environments, with expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, VMware, and network administration.
Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint security.
Hands-on experience with backup and replication tools such as Veeam or Zerto.
Familiarity with monitoring and security platforms like Splunk or Sentinel, as well as scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage projects effectively.
Proven ability to guide less experienced team members and foster a culture of collaboration.
Strong understanding of Citrix technologies and Microsoft Exchange.
Demonstrated ability to support both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.
