Director, Network Engineering

About your role:

As a Director of Network Engineering will provide technical and personnel leadership to a dedicated group of engineers responsible for a 100 site corporate office network. You will utilize network technologies in a way that provides new capabilities for the business and helps drive the business forward. As a Leader, you will develop and grow the capabilities and skills sets of team in order to ensure team can continue to deliver business solutions using modern technologies.

What you'll do:

  • Manage team of network engineers responsible for the design and delivery of network solutions to over 100 sites in over a dozen countries.
  • Be accountable for lifecycle management, regulatory compliance, network security, operational service levels, strategic leadership and customer satisfaction of the corporate office network
  • Collaborate with other end user compute, cybersecurity, and other internal partners to meet technology and business objectives
  • Implement strategic plans to cost-effectively modernize network infrastructure and deliver technology solutions to business challenges


Experience you'll need to have:

  • 10 years experience engineering and managing global enterprise networks
  • 5+ years experience supervising global teams at a manager or director level
  • Expert knowledge in TCP/IP, MPLS, SD-WAN, Wifi, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NAC, cloud, zero trust, Zscaler
  • Experience with Cisco, Arista, Versa, Aruba, and other leading network technology vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience


Experience that would be great to have:

  • Masters Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other, related fields
  • Experience implementing Jira and other workflow tools into team processes
  • Experience implementing IOT technologies on an enterprise network
  • Prior experience with network automation


Travel:

  • Approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.

Salary Range

$142,800.00 - $240,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
