Overview
We are seeking an experienced C/C++ Software Developer to join our team in supporting and enhancing remote control middleware applications. This role focuses on feature development, bug fixes, and ensuring high-quality software solutions.
WKey Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications in alignment with business requirements and design specifications.
- Implement feature enhancements and resolve defects in existing systems.
- Standardize and execute quality assurance procedures for software deliverables.
- Collaborate with BA/QA teams to create test plans and ensure issues are properly identified, fixed, and tested.
- Configure and test system changes, including reports, security access, and workflows.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements to enhance functionality and simplify administration.
- Perform configuration changes in production environments under general supervision.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in C/C++ development (Intermediate level).
- Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with HTTP and TCP/IP protocols.
- Experience consuming API/web-based services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to work collaboratively and mentor team members on coding practices and design principles.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work under general supervision.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Ruby (minimal Python usage expected).
- Knowledge of building scalable services (SOAP and REST).
- Exposure to middleware applications and system integration.
Additional Information
- This position is C/C++ only-no Java or Django development.
- Minimal Python usage required.
