We are seeking an experienced S/4HANA Program Delivery Director or Senior Consultant to lead a critical S/4HANA transformation program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both technical architecture and end-to-end business processes within S/4HANA, particularly across GxP-compliant environments and external manufacturing (ExM) supply chains. This is a full-time hours role , on-site role based in Boston, MA, with the long-term possibility
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of an S/4HANA implementation program across business and IT stakeholders.
Act as the strategic interface between business process owners and technical teams.
Drive solution design, configuration oversight, and integration across GxP-regulated supply chain operations.
Manage the delivery of external manufacturing (ExM) and 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) capabilities, ensuring alignment with compliance, operational, and supply chain requirements.
Oversee coordination and governance across workstreams to ensure successful project execution, timelines, and quality standards.
Guide testing, validation, cutover, and change management activities in line with GxP compliance standards.
Collaborate with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and partners across the 3PL ecosystem.
Provide leadership in issue resolution, risk mitigation, and executive communication.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of SAP experience with at least 3 full-cycle S/4HANA program deliveries.
Deep knowledge of S/4HANA technical architecture and business process design, especially across supply chain and manufacturing domains.
Proven experience in GxP-regulated environments.
Expertise in External Manufacturing (ExM), CMOs, and integration with 3PL providers.
Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Track record of delivering large, complex SAP programs on time and within budget.
Experience working with cross-functional global teams and third-party system integrators.
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Must be based in Boston, MA and available full-time, on-site.
Nice to Have:
Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry experience.
