Title - Sr. Pega Architect

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Pega Architect to design, architect, and lead the implementation of enterprise-level solutions using Pega Platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Pega application design, PRPC, integrations, and workflow automation, with experience driving end-to-end architecture and best practices across the Pega ecosystem. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and performant Pega solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of Pega-based applications and BPM solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs.
- Define Pega application architecture, data models, UI frameworks, and integration patterns.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Pega developers and ensure adherence to Pega best practices and guardrails.
- Lead code reviews, solution design reviews, and performance optimization.
- Oversee Pega upgrade/migration planning, impact analysis, and execution.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and infrastructure teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Integrate Pega applications with external systems via REST, SOAP, APIs, message queues, etc.
- Develop reusable components, frameworks, and integration patterns.
- Prepare and maintain architectural documentation, design specifications, and technical diagrams.
- Support solution deployment, environment setup, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Pega PRPC development and architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Pega PRPC 8.x or later
- Pega Application Frameworks
- Case Management & BPM
- Decisioning & Pega Rules
- Pega UI/UX, Flow & Data transforms
- Pega Agents/Job Schedulers
- Integration expertise using REST/SOAP APIs, Kafka, JMS, MQ, Apache Camel, or Enterprise ESBs.
- Experience in Pega upgrade, re-platforming, or cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Pega certifications such as:
- Pega Lead System Architect (LSA)
- Senior System Architect (SSA)
- System Architect (CSA)
Preferred Experience
- Experience in major domains such as Banking, Insurance, Telecom, or Healthcare.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with decisioning (Pega CDH), robotics, and analytics is a plus.
- Experience in enterprise modernization/migration projects involving legacy-to-Pega transformation.
